Results of Icebreaker 21 September 2014

Thank you to all involved with Icebreaker...much to our amazement the weather was in contrast to that forecast, flat surf, little wind, and mild conditions overhead. We were indeed fortunate when considering the week's weather.

The event went pretty smoothly with no accidents and all athletes accounted for!! First aid - not required.

My thanks to Sherrise for the excellent prizes she purchased for us, including plenty of spot prizes. Thanks also to our marshalls Graeme Sunnex and Shelly Hubbard-always necessary, of course Debbie Moodie, our recently appointed club support officer who was most helpful, and our fantastic Bar B Q team of Karen & Roger. I would also like to thank Ryan Gordon who put his hand up to help out in the IRB. Thanks Ryan.

And a special thanks to Denys Carpenter , our health and safety officer who briefed our athletes on all potential hazards/risks. Fortunately we did not have to change the ski course as conditions were in our favour.
