All of our Nippers are invited to join in the carnival.
there are participation only events for under 9 year olds and those
new to surf. Most will be more than capable of participating on the
competitive events with two stipulations - that they hold their
200m badge plus they are wearing close fitting swimwear, not
boardies and preferably black.

WHAT: Competition Events- (Mandatory 200m Safety Award
required).
Combined 10/11yrs Age Group & Cadet Arena. Flags, sprints,
relays, surf race, board race, tin man & diamond lady
events.
Participation Events - (No safety award required) 9 & under
age group & kids new to surf. Fun team & individual
events.
NOTE: all participants are required to be wearing a NZSLS vest -
this is a mandatory SLSNZ requirement and has been put in place for
safety and visibility.
